Mission Statement

To honour Dakota Millen, and her short but impacƞul life, by being a catalyst for bipolar awareness and the broader mental health pandemic. Funding early detecƟon, streamlining treatment, engaging family support and reducing stigma, we believe that our pain can be turned into purpose, and invite others, who share this journey to be part of our impact through hope, resources, and support in the Okanagan Valley.”

Vision

“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”

The Most Reverend Desmond Tutu OMSG CH GCStJ
Archbishop of Cape Town Primate of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa
Chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Nobel Prize Winner
